Artichokes

                       As a decorative piece  you can't beat 'em   
                        But I wonder who first tried to eat 'em?

at waters edge

                                        You always see things come and go,
                           but what they are you never know!

Dreadful day

How doleful our day, how bitter our cup,

                     when our flag cannot tell which end is up!

Me, too

                 Sometimes, my friend, you  look almost real,- 
               that look in your eye, - I know just how you feel!

Toothy

                         A tidier spot I never have seen,
              than my dear little teeth lined up on the screen

          Do you feel, sometimes, when some signals appear,
              that maybe you're not really welcome here?

A rose? Who knows?

Do pilots get bored,  do you think that is why

they'd want to paint flowers up in the sky?

95 and still alive?

                    Today is my  birthday, now what do I do?
                  Lay plans for the future? forgive all my past?                                   
                      ....or just hope to live the day through?
