Ugh!

                       I wonder what  dreadful occurrence,
                         made him hide his head like a kid.
               Perhaps it's not strange, it's not hard to explain,
                    when you think what those Romans did!
             

Stone's seat

                     Somebody stuck me up on this rock
                              and left me here all alone;
                but it's OK to do, 'cause I now have a view,
                       and a view's a rare thing for a stone.

Tulip-mania

                       There's something about a tulip,

                         when it first comes into bloom:

                   just one can be fine, but place them in line,

                   and then watch the temperature zoom!

Beetle'd out

                               It's been a long day already,
                             and it's brutally hot in this sun;
                          I'd like to get under that awning
                               and stay 'til the day is done.

Pedi-power

                  We sit on a different throne these days,
                            when seeking our monarchy;
            and there, where we chose to ennoble our toes,
                            we are treated like royalty!

Growing Up

                         It's fun to watch the progression,
                        on the "Pride of Madeira"s  plume:
                   all taking place at the same time and space, -                       
                       from bumpkin to blossom to bloom!

                          If you want to produce a landscape,

                           of mountains and lakes, or a brook:

                   well, sure, you could paint, but if painter you ain't, 

                        try some clips from a wallpaper book.
