Crisis coming?

                       I saw those wild waves approaching,
                      that would soon take us over, it seemed.
                   ... and the skies all alight?, - but wasn't it night?
                           It must have been only a dream!

In-sight

             The old tree was rotted and gone, I knew,
                      so I stopped by to give it the eye, 
                    hoping to see the depths of the earth,
                              but all I saw was the sky.

Shades at play

                       If you're a slatted window shade,
                               strait-laced every day,
                        you've got to have a little fun,
                         before you're thrown away!

Onward!

                Some fellows think when their banner's unfurled
             they've been picked by the gods to conquer the world.

Good grief!

                         It's good to see that I'm not alone,
                                it can happen to any one:
                     peasant or king, it's all the same thing,
                             "Oh lord, what have I done!"

Arbor antics

                   Though it may not be what you'd call romance,
                 it's romantic to me to watch trees when they dance.

Dinner time?

                       Something is cooking at the seashore,
                       "Please, sir, can I have some more"?
