Brinksmanship

                When you see that fellow on top of the roof,
                  do you think he enjoys looking 'round?
        ....or remembers to think as he goes down the brink,
                          to be sure not to look down!

Visitors?

                                  I never was a believer,
                       of strange flying objects and such;
               but what can you do when they prove it to you
                            with such an aesthetic touch?

Demolition

          When those monster machines start to tear a house down,

                        they quickly demolish the past;

                but it doesn't seem fair if the memories there

                         should all disappear that fast!

Somewhere else?

                  
                  When the light comes at just the right angle, 
                        and the houses at just the right stand,
                  you can dream just a bit that you've taken a trip,
                         and you've wound up in pyramid-land.

Dreamland

                 There are times you find yourself asking,
                    are things really what they seem?
                 ... and then one night a celestial sight
                      assures you you live in a dream!

Chilly filly

               Where is he taking me now, do you think?
                         I don't mean to be a scold;
          but since he first formed me, he's never informed me,
                       doesn't he know I get cold?

Back tomorrow

                   If it's one of those days when things get too bad,
                        you're frustrated, fed-up, or ailing;
                     there's only one way to salvage the day, -
                       put a sign on the the door and go sailing!
