Journey's End

                 


            I know how it feels when you thought you would soar,
                   and then you just end up, back on the floor.

                             I tried to be alone at the beach,
                  but it seems you never can be out of reach

Sheepish

                       If you want to see something sheepish...
                          ..... just look for a half-shorn sheep!      

Back when...

                    When I look around at our world these days,
                             with everything in such a mess,
                I marvel how different it must have been then,   
                         when folks lived in houses like this.

See tree!

                     When you see a tree that is glistening so,
                    you'd think that those clouds had set it aglow!

                             Dear Valentines, how can you resist,
                        could you ever be more adored than this?

Thoughtless

                                                   The big birds never seem concerned
                                                 that their little friends should have a turn!
