Happy Birthday. I have been thinking about what to say about your birthday that is really just about who you are......I think create and explore are the words that I would use to describe you. Always looking for the next interesting thing in life and then, create something special out of what you have seen and done. That is how I see my dear friend Joan. I had hoped to post a picture here, but can't figure out how to do that....it is of you exploring a massive sculpture on one of our outings to the Cantor Center at Stanford.....it just sums it all up.
